All Set for the Tacurong mapping workshop on May 20, 2012

With an overwhelming response from participant’s online registration Lets Map Tacurong City! is all set on May 20, 2012 Sunday at the Audio Visual Room of NDTC. Let’s Map Tacurong City!  is a Google Map Maker mapping workshop organized by Tacurong Online and Google, in partnership with LGU Tacurong, Department of Tourism, Notre Dame of Tacurong College and supported by FreeBros Technology, Arkowa Arts, Palm Bistro and Little Einstein School.

 Tourism“Let’s Map Tacurong” mapping session will 
teach participants the basic knowledge and skills on geo-tagging tourism spots, businesses, precincts, evacuation areas, fire, police, health
 establishments and other points of interests 
inside Tacurong City using 
 Maker. Geo-tagging these points of interests will have great impact tourism, business, security, and health capabilities of Tacurong City.

To join you simply have to register here by clicking this link and filling out the electronic registration form in that link.  FREE SHIRTS AND FREE MEALS  will be provided only to the first 30 online registrants, and was already filled up last May 15, 2012. Registration for the free Map Maker workshop, free bottomless coffee, freebies and certificates is STILL OPEN  until 5:00PM of May 19, 2012.

Prior to the workshop, registered participants (who received a confirmation on their emails after they registered online) are REQUIRED to do the EIGHT MUST DO STEPS enumerated in this post . This is to ensure we will be maximizing the workshop to Mapping Activities only!

To avail of these freebies, YOU MUST BE PHYSICALLY PRESENT on the workshop day  with a laptoppreferably with a wifi dongle (like Smart Bro plug it, Globe Tattoo) and a GPS capable phone  (like android powered smartphones samsung, or iPhone).
