This annual event is open to everyone-tourists, locals, bird watchers and enthusiasts of all ages. The Festival hopes to highlight the importance of birds in the environment, encouraging the participants to take conservation of natural habitats such as the Baras Bird Sanctuary as a personal pledge to wildlife conservation.

To achieve this goal, the organizers will hold an awareness forum and guided bird tours in the Sanctuary.
