Inugyunay Festival warms up Tacurong’s 2014 Christmas season!

It’s back! From the modest celebration last year, this year’s Inugyunay Festival will surely warm up the chilly nights of December here in Tacurong City.

Inugyunay Festival or “festival of unity” (from the Hiligaynon word “inugyun” , meaning to unite ) is a month long festival ofspectacularly lighted christmas tree, nightly variety shows, bazaars, night market and highlighted by a fireworks display. It is celebrated by the city of Tacurong from the second week of December to the first week of January the following year.

The lighting of the trees started December 15, 2014 marking the start of the festival. You can keep track of the daily and nightly happenings via this Calendar of Activities. (Please click the image for a larger, readable view)
