Join the Allah Valley Landscape Development Alliance’s (AVLDA) Tourism Circuit Sites Photography Contest 2012!
AVLDA is a multi-stakeholder group comprised of representatives from the Province of South Cotabato ( Municipalities of Lake Sebu, T’boli, Surallah, Sto. Nino, Banga, and Norala) and the Province of Sultan Kudarat (City of Tacurong, and the Municipalities of Isulan, Esperanzam Lambayong and Bagumbayan), plus five national government agencies and one NGO coalition.
AVLDA aims to contribute to “greater environmental sustainability”,through “more comprehensive and coherent management effort among the different stakeholders in the landscape, while also helping to strengthen and sustain relationships between two regions dealing with actual needs, and not because of a political agenda or national program.
This year, AVLDA is organizing the contest in time for the T’nalak Festival of South Cotabato this July, 2012!
Amateur and professional photographers from all over the country are invited to join.
A photography tour to the tourism sites will be conducted as part of the contest which will cover the Eco-Cultural Tourism Wonders of Allah Valley Landscape. The sites include Lake Sebu’s 7 falls, Zipline, 3 Lakes, Tacurong Baras Bird Sanctuary, Sepaka River/Tasiman Falls, Traankini Falls, Surallah’s Tri-people monument/roundabout, Kematu Mining site, School of Living Traditions, SK Capitol building and Mt Matutum. Mt. Parker and Lake Holon in its caldera are provisional destinations.
