Mobilizing the Differently Abled Tacurongnons!

We do not look forward to having one of these wheelchairs but yes, our differently abled citizens will surely benefit from these donations.-Excerpts from Hon Lino Montilla’s speech

That is exactly what these wheelchairs are all about-empowering the differently able citizens of this city. Providing them with a means for mobility means providing them with a way of performing better in their daily life and as citizens of this city. In turn those who take care of them will have more time attending to their other important tasks.

Thanks to the PHI KAPPA MU fraternity of the UP COLLEGE OF MEDICINE and GLOBAL FREE WHEELCHAIR FOUNDATION for giving these 20 top of the line wheelchair for free. The city social welfare department screened and choose the qualified recipients, thanks to them also. But without the help of our gracious city mayor, Lino Montilla this could not have been possible.
